Disk golf season is upon us once more, I know this because I just played a round with the usual suspects (Keith, Keely, and Ian). I was then able to get people to watch Veronica Mars, and all though every one took to it rather well I kept feeling wary of negative comments… Keely directed me to the Fables graphic novels that I have been getting from the library. She is currently reading my copy of the fall of Ile-Rien. I have noticed that I lend more books to her than any one else I know, It might have something to do with having the highest return rate. |

I had heard that a local management person at Panera bread was thinking of changing the baker hours from 10 (pm) – 6 (am) to 11 – 7 (so that we would be around when customers start showing up), and all I could think of was how the closing managers wouldn’t be able to leave till 11 (they tend to leave around 10:20) and that by 7 traffic would get really bad. Now I find out that they are thinking of doing this because of getting customer feedback that some people think Panera has no bakers and just brings the bread in from elsewhere. I found this to be hilarious because aside from calling the company a liar, it means people don’t believe I exist! I was tempted to post a sign saying that every time a person says they don’t believe in Panera bakers that a baker falls down dead. (to be easily resurrected with a bit of clapping) |

It turns out that if I had been bourn a girl my name would have been Sarah Louise. When I think of that name in full it gets supplanted by Sarah Louise Conner (The second Sarah Conner killed in the first movie (I own it, I get to know these things)) followed by Arnold’s voice asking “where is Sarah Conner”. I have returned from yet another successful colonization of the land of sheep and brick known as catan. It’s an odd feeling wining at it yet again after having done so time and again with out interruption; it’s a slightly paranoid feeling as though something is wrong with reality. |

Update: So I seem to be bleeding money, and it’s not just the gifting. Got my car all fixed up (not a bent tie rod) handles a lot better now, and new tires (no more refilling the tire every three days!). Got a new phone its blue and it slides, I like it! I came across something I had intended to get one day, and the mechanics of it were just so keen… I went and whimed right of with it. And then there is the continuation of the Buffy story in comic form, I get all gleeful when going to pick it up, but the once a month thing so horrible and drawn out. Now that the Angel story is being finished out in the same manner I have a new one to pickup every two weeks! And my floor is getting covered in backlog of reading, I have fallen behind on my Asimov’s subscription, I have yet to open Empire of Ivory (which I had preordered), and I have a new Kage Baker book that’s still in the bag! The entertainment it drowns me… |
